Annual General Meeting Notice - May 13, 2026 @ 7PM - Seven Oaks Arena - Register Now!
Dear Ringette Families!
North West Ringette Association is powered by volunteers.
We are so grateful for the coaches, managers and others who dedicate time and energy to making our sport a supporting and welcoming place for young athletes.
It has been a great season, in large part due to the efforts of our association's volunteer board of directors. As our teams and players focus on playoffs and finishing off the season with their teams, our board is looking ahead to next season and we are asking YOU to consider getting involved!
Thank you for your interest in the sport we all love. We hope to see you at the AGM on May 5, 2026 @ 7PM at Seven Oaks Arena.
What does the NWRA Board do?
The NWRA Board guides the direction of our association.
Over the past few seasons, we have focused heavily on the future of ringette in our area, recruiting players, promoting ringette within the seven oaks school division, and creating an environment that builds skills and friendships and prioritizes fun.
Board members work together on things like: planning the season, supporting coaches and teams, and coordinating association events like our 3v3 tournament, Holiday Skate and Home Opener games. We are involved at all levels of the sport, dedicating a few hours a month to the game that our children love to play.
Do you need board experience to join us?
You do not need prior board experience to get involved, just an interest in supporting youth sports, building positive relationships amongst teammates, and a willingness to contribute your ideas and your time.
What is the time commitment?
All board positions carry a term of two years and the board meets monthly, for approximately 2 hours.
Members also volunteer time for centralized A tryouts, association events and tournaments.
Where can you get more information?
Please reach out to any of our current members for more information or to express an interest in joining us!
